Some Things You Might Want to Know
If you are in another country, a citizen of the world, then the $6 flat rate quoted will not cover shipping to you. This requires an e-mail from us to you asking giving a quote for shipping and asking you to reply with an approval for the large rate. (Some small orders for our brethren and sisteren in Canada will still get the flat rate.)
At this time, most packages ship via the United States Postal Service, usually via Priority Mail. This takes no more than 3 days for most US address. For some large orders, we may opt for Parcel Post or Media Rate, since we quote a flat rate of $6 for all orders. This may mean a few extra days in transit. You may request rush service, but that is best handled by calling us at 612-889-5123.
If everything you order is in stock, we will attempt to ship it within 3 business days of receiving the order. There may be a few items that are listed that are not in stock. If you have ordered something that is no longer in stock, I will always send an e-mail to let you know and give you a chance to accept the reduced order or cancel the entire order. If you use a credit card, no charge will be made until you have made such an acceptance. There are major changes afoot and when that happens, I will be updating the product list on a regular basis, not to mention adding hundreds and then thousands more!
Most of our merchandise is "new" or as close to it as we can get. The books are unread, but they may have been handled by a careful customer or employee a few times, although a very few of them may be several years old. We don't guarantee first printings, just the latest available from a distributor (again, unless otherwise noted). The toys, games, and novelties are in original packaging unless otherwise stated, with slight bends or dents on the corners of action figure cards, and possibly a little hole in the shrink-wrapping of games here and there, but even that is rare.
We intend to never have a complaint nor to have a package returned. We pack everything with that in mind. Even normal handling by the good people at the USPS should never be the cause of a complaint.
If you are dissatisfied for any reason, please send an e-mail to ralph@comicopolis.com so that we can work out a settlement, which may include a refund and return, or other settlement. Please include your name, address, item description, price, date ordered and received, and a phone number. If you used a credit card for payment, we will issue a refund through the same card. I am happy to say that returns are extremely rare, maybe 2 in the last year.
